the disciplinator

does this count as art?  haha, jk!  soda can + sundry pebbles + old wooden spoon + a little bit of tape and sharpie = THE DISCIPLINATOR!  

reason:  there is no way in all of heck that i'll ever strike our doggies.  yes, they are little stinkers, but violence instills nothing but fear, and they're supposed to be my best friends.  so....they shall not be stricken!  however, they do need a little bit of disciplining.  for example:  kira will run out into the street and then stand there and just stare at the oncoming cars.  (our house doesn't have a front or back fence).  it's like she's committing suicide!  another example is when they beg for food.  that's not cool.  we've tried other disciplinary measures, and nothing seems to work.  i've heard that they don't like the sound of pebbles in a soda can, so out of desperation, i tried it out today.  the results are amazing!  frita and kira absolutely cower at the sound.  beautiful.
