so, mainly this blog is so that i will start drawing and painting more. if i have something to post, then i'm more likely to be creative!
this painting i started last year. :( burke bought me a beautiful new easel for christmas, so i pulled out this painting, and continued where i left off. (it's in black and white, and only a portion is posted so that when i'm done it will be kind of a surprise, k)?
you will probably see a lot of pieces like my little rooster friend here. not necessarily roosters, but ink drawings of all kinds. i start with an ink stetch/graphic, then i get more elaborate as the work progresses. by the end, i usually have a whole line of designs, all from one idea sketched in ink!
